It is now commonplace for the children of footballers to take after their fathers and former Nigerian, and Chelsea defender Celestine Babayaro is not left out of the party.
Ryan Hyacinth, the son of Babayaro made the headlines a while back when he represented his school in a tournament in Newcastle's academy. The youngster turned the head of spectators with his dribbling skills and he was invited by the then manager of the Magpies Rafa Benitez to join the club.
After receiving Ryan Hyacinth, Benitez said he hoped the bemusing dribbler becomes “the new Messi.”

“The idea is to keep the connection between the club and the community, it would be fantastic if the club did produce a player on the back of one of the Foundation’s courses.
“It’s not the main idea but at the same time you come across one talent nobody knew about. And then, maybe, he will be the new Messi,” Benitez said.

Ryan, who was 10 at that time, emerged as MVP at the competition after helping his school, Cambois Primary School, Northumberland win the Competition that involved primary schools at the Tyneside.
After leaving Chelsea, Babayaro moved to Newcastle United, where he laced his boots between 2004 and 2008. There are indications that the Nigerian legend still lives in Newcastle.
